ABOUT ME

Hi there and welcome to my page! Let me tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Tori McGee, I am 35 years old and I reside in Atlanta, Georgia. I am the mother of a beautiful toddler boy and I have a very close knit family, whom I love dearly. My favorite hobbies include investing, traveling and dancing my heart out. My personal mission statement is to dance in the rain. It symbolizes my philosophy and approach to life. When things get hard, and they will, the best medicine is to stay joyful. This perspective has served me well for all of my life.

I AM STORITELLING

In 2019, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a blood cancer that begins in the lymphatic system, and impacts your body’s ability to fight off infection and disease. After going into remission, and having my baby boy shortly thereafter, I was diagnosed with relapsed Hodgkin's Lymphoma in the fall of 2021. The relapse required me to undergo an autologous stem cell transplant to eradicate the disease. By the fall of 2022 I was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre' syndrome (GBS), an autoimmune disorder that attacks your nerve endings and temporarily impairs your ability to use your extremities. In extreme instances, it can even cause paralysis or death. After six months of rigorous rehabilitation, I have regained the strength that was lost and as of spring 2023, I am fully recovered from GBS and back in remission.

My purpose has called me to share my stori of determination, perseverance and staying joyful. My goal is to inspire others to push through to the other side. Our best days are ahead of us and this is just a moment in time. I’d love to share my message with you and your audience. Let's connect!
